A complex residuum resulting from the production of 1,6-hexanediamine from ammonia and 1,6-hexanediol. It consists primarily of [(cyclohexyloxy)amino]hexane, (aminohexyl)hexamethyleneimine, and hexanediols and boils in a range of approximately 295°C to 400°C (563°F to 752°F).
